Sabor a Mar was such an outstanding success in 2019 you will not want to miss it in 2020. 425 people attended the food and music event and raised over $7,500 for the five organizations key to the recognition of the Espiritu Santo Archipelago as one of the best managed and protected national parks in the world. After all the success in 2019 we face new challenges in 2020. SeaWatch formed in 1993 is concerned with the rapidly declining fish populations in the Sea of Cortez. In 2009, SeaWatch, funded changes in federal fishing laws, initiated and helped launch Red de Observadores Ciudadanos (ROC), a citizen-driven non-profit organization whose mission is to stop illegal fishing in Espíritu Santo National Park and monitor illegal activities in the Bay of La Paz. 5 people enjoyed 220 bottles of wine, 400 lbs of sustainably raised seafood, 120 lbs of lamb and pork all served by 10 of the best chefs and restaurants in Cabo San Lucas and La Paz. Rock Violinist, Aaron Meyer from Portland, Oregon and trumpet player Terry Townsend from La Paz provided the music.
